Hut site in Clooneen (tireragh By.) is a hut site in Clooneen (tireragh By.), County Sligo, Ireland. The circular area spans 3m across and sits 2m east of the rath bank. A low earth and stone bank, 1.4m wide at its base and 0.3m high inside, encloses the space. The second hut site defines the south-west edge, while an inward scarp marks the north-west boundary where the bank is absent.
Situated on slight E-facing slope in pasture, 2m to E of external base of bank enclosing a rath (SL011-090001-) and conjoined to the NE side of a second hut site (SL011-090004-). Circular area (diam. 3m ) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth base 1.4m; int. H 0.3m). From S-SW, the site is defined by the second hut site (SL011-090004)-. From SW-N the bank is absent and the edge of the site is defined by an inward facing scarp (H 0.2m). A break (Wth 1m) in the bank at ESE marks the original entrance.
