In undulating pasture, on a rise. The remains of grass-covered foundations of a rectangular stone-built structure (int. dims. 2.5m N-S; c. 3m E-W). One section of a stone wall (T 0.3m) is evident above the ground on the E side. The centre of the structure is obscured by rubble. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
