Detached multiple-bay single-storey thatched house, built c. 1800, having lean-to extension to east elevation. Hipped thatched roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls.
Utilising traditional local materials and construction methods, vernacular structures are found all over Ireland but are now no longer built. Long low profile typical of many modest thatched buildings in Ireland.
