Corner-sited attached four-bay three-storey house, built c. 1840, now in commercial use. L-plan, projecting shopfront to ground floor, north elevation, c. 1900. Hipped and pitched slate roof behind parapet, clay ridge and hip tiles, red brick corbelled chimneystack, circular cast-iron downpipes, painted stone coping to parapet. Smooth rendered ruled-and-lined walling, channelled quoins to corners. Square-headed window openings, painted stone sills, painted moulded smooth rendered architraves, uPVC windows. Painted smooth rendered ruled-and-lined shopfront, c. 1900, recently altered to include central timber and glazed entrance door flanked chamfered pilasters and large fixed display windows, square-headed door opening to east of north elevation, giving access to upper storeys, aluminium and glazed door and overlight, flanked by chamfered pilasters, painted smooth rendered fascia and cornice. North elevation fronts onto quays, west elevation street fronted.

Though there have been replacement fittings, the façade of this building has been well maintained. The early render detailing to walling, window surrounds and shopfront have survived the passing of time. Located on the quayside, this premises would have capitalised on trade passing through the docks.
