Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1890, having two-storey return with lean-to additions to rear (north). Flat-roofed single-bay single-storey addition to west elevation. Pitched slate roof having exposed projecting roof beams to eaves course, rendered chimneystacks, gable copings and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed window openings having rendered sills, two-over-two pane timber sliding sash and timber casement windows. Square-headed door opening having replacement glazed timber door. Rendered enclosing walls having square-profile rendered gate piers and timber gate.

A pleasing, simple house, which is representative of the form and scale of houses which were built by local people in the area in the late nineteenth century. Its historic character is enhanced through the retention of original features including timber sash windows and a fine slate roof.
