Semi-detached three-bay two-storey with attic house, built c. 1800, now disused, forming one of pair with house to east. Pitched slate roof with rendered and rendered red brick chimneystacks. Rendered walls with exposed rubble sandstone to west elevation. Square-headed window openings with margined four-over-four pane timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills, those to first floor forming part of render sill course continuous to both houses. Blind central opening to first floor. Square-headed attic windows to west elevation with fixed timber windows. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled half-glazed door with moulded timber architrave and render surround.

This building, together with its pair, occupies a prominent site at the corner of Chapel Hill and McCurtain Street. It retains notable features such as the margined timber sash windows and the façade is enlivened by the continuous sill course and render door surround, which lend elegance to the modestly sized and detailed building.
