Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1900, having oriel window and gablet to front (north) elevation. Pitched tiled roof with terracotta ridge crestings and rendered chimneystack. Hipped sprocketed tiled roof to oriel having cast-iron finial. Roughcast rendered walls with render plat band, plinth course, limestone consoles to oriel and terracotta tiles to gables. Square-headed openings having replacement uPVC windows. Recessed entrance comprising square-profile Doric-style columns, limestone lintel and threshold with square-headed half-glazed timber panelled door.
This distinctive house has retained some of its essential external details, such as the tiled roof, terracotta ridge crestings and cast-iron finials. The limestone details accentuate its attractive appearance. The house presents a striking Edwardian façade to the streetscape.
