Detached three-bay single-storey direct-entry thatched house, built c. 1800. Pitched thatched roof with rendered chimneystack. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed openings having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed opening having timber panelled door with glass panel. Set back slightly from the road.

Fine example of an early nineteenth century vernacular house, retaining much of its original form. The simple design and minimum decorative detailing are typical of this building type. The house forms an attractive and striking roadside feature.
