Detached four-bay single-storey house, built c. 1910, having single-bay pitched slate roof extension to rear (west) elevation. Now disused. Pitched artificial slate roof with red brick chimneystack. Rendered walls with painted brick quoins. Square-headed openings throughout, with painted brick block-and-start surrounds and four-over-four pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening with render surround and timber battened half-door. Rubble stone boundary wall with square-profile brick piers and wrought-iron pedestrian gate, and square-profile rubble stone piers with wrought-iron double-leaf gates.

Modestly sized structure showing evidence of conscious design. Unusual timber sash windows with horizontal panes. Openings enhanced and emphasised by brick dressings. Retains much heritage fabric including windows, door and roof slates. One of several near identical small structures in this area, probably built for landless labourers following the passing of the various Land Acts from 1880 onward.
