Situated on gently sloping ground, overlooking low-lying, rough pasture to S and SW. To the WSW of castle (WM024-155----) and ringwork (WM024-155001-) is a small, rectangular house site. The ground between the house site and the ringwork is very uneven, with rocky outcrops and depressions. This feature forms part of the earthworks (WM024-155002-) which are in the immediate vicinity of the castle and ringwork. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien.
