Detached three-bay single-storey with dormer attic house, built c.1800, having pitched half dormer windows to front (south) and single-storey extension to side (east) elevation. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, cast-iron rainwater goods and timber bargeboards to half dormers. Rendered walls with exposed rubble stone to rear (north) elevation. Square-headed window openings with render sills, having two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows to first floor, uPVC casement windows to ground floor. Square-headed door openings with timber battened doors. Set within own grounds.

Simple in design, this modest house displays some vernacular characteristics. It retains noteworthy features such as timber sash windows and bargeboards which greatly enliven the building. Located on the main Macroom to Ballyvourney road, it is an important feature of the local landscape.
