What is recorded here

Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1920. Now vacant. Recent extension to rear (north). Pitched slate roof having rendered chimneystacks with cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls with rendered plinth, timber eaves course and rendered quoins. Square-headed openings with six-over-one timber sliding sash windows, concrete sills and rendered block-and-start surrounds. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door, rendered block-and-start surround and overlight. Rendered boundary walls with piers and wrought-iron gate.
An attractive house of a typical rural early twentieth century style and form, though made unusual by it fine windows and render accents. Retaining much of its original character and charm, it makes an attractive roadside addition.
