What is recorded here

Detached four-bay two-storey house, built c.1820, with further single-bay two-storey block to south. Now vacant. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills. Square-headed door opening with timber battened door. Set in farmyard with outbuildings to front (east) and sides (north and south).
This house retains the majority of its original features and outbuildings, which combine to create a site of historic character and interest. The massive chimneystacks are particularly notable and contribute greatly to the substantial and sturdy sense of the building.
