Detached three-bay single-storey former labourer’s cottage, built c. 1890, having lean-to outbuilding to south gable. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows with painted stone sills. Square-headed door opening with limestone plinths and timber battened door. Rendered boundary walls with rendered piers and caps having cast-iron double-leaf gate to site. Set back slightly from the road.

This small labourer’s cottage is typical in form and style of such structures in Ireland. Its functional role is emphasised by the lack of ornamentation to the façade. The building is enhanced by the retention of the slate roof and timber sash windows.
