Detached L-plan five-bay two-storey house, built c. 1890, with two-bay return and two-bay single-storey rear (south) addition. Hipped slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles and rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls with render quoins and plinth course. Paired square-headed window openings with render sills and moulded render surrounds incorporating render keystones. Render engaged columns dividing windows, having marigold motifs to capitals. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed window openings to rear elevation with render sills having one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed window openings to addition having render sills and replacement uPVC windows. Elliptical-headed door opening with moulded render surround incorporating render pilaster and render keystone. Replacement timber panelled door with recent sidelights and overlight. Square-headed door openings to rear with timber battened doors. Square-profile gate piers with pointed four sided caps, having wrought-iron gates.
A pleasant nineteenth-century house with interesting render ornamentation. This house retains features including the timber sliding sash windows and decorative door surround. Its location in a landscaped garden largely retains the site's original form and character.
