Bóthar na Naomh marks the western shore where a saint allegedly walked toward Oileán Mhic Dar, leaving behind a small round pothole that locals treat as a holy well. The dark porphyry dyke cuts through ordinary stone like a road built for footsteps rather than carts. People may have knelt at its edge, poured water over troubled joints, or whispered names into the hollow before tide erased their evidence.

It consists of a small natural round pothole near the outer end of a dyke of dark porphyry called Bóthar na Naomh, which is regarded as the road a saint took in walking to Oileán Mhic Dar (GA076-020001-) (info.
