Quay, built c.1860, with battered dry-stone road revetment forming small harbour area. Quay comprises irregular rubble stone with concrete surface, concrete block parapet and concrete steps over original stone to south-east elevation. Concrete mooring posts and recent galvanised railings. Concrete slipway to south-east and large granite boulder revetment to quay area.
This small quayside reflects the former importance of maritime trade to the local economy.
