In rough pasture, on a N-facing wooded slope on the SW side of a road. According to local information, there was a holy well, with a corbelled stone covering, behind the Lissardagh ambush monument. It was removed and there are no visible remains of it. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
