Single-arch rubble stone hump back road bridge over canal, c.1820. Random rubble stone walls with lime mortar, and rubble stone vertical coping to parapets. Single segmental arch with rubble stone voussoirs, and rubble stone soffits having render over. Sited spanning canal with grass banks to canal.

An elegantly-composed bridge of modest appearance forming a picturesque feature on the canal built by the Duke of Devonshire (n. d.) connecting Cappoquin with Lismore. The construction of the arch, which has retained its original profile, augments the technical engineering importance of the site, while the construction in unrefined rubble stone serves to assimilate the bridge into the surrounding landscape.
