Graveyard in Kilsaran

Graveyard

What is recorded here

Kilsaran holds a sub-rectangular graveyard wrapped around abandoned church remains in County Louth. Early eighteenth-century graveslabs still mark the earth, suggesting families continued burying their dead there long after the building fell silent. The place preserves more than stone; it preserves the patience of people who kept returning to the same soil while the world changed around them.
