Kilmactalway is a circular walled graveyard in County Dublin, Ireland, enclosing its own church amid open farmland. The wall marks a complete world where the living worshipped and the dead rested without dividing the land. A baptismal font once stood inside that circle, pouring new life into the same soil that received the dead. The water is gone now, but the shape remains, holding both beginnings and endings within one unbroken line.

According to D'Alton (1838, 684) there was a baptismal font (DU021-003004-) in the graveyard, which is no longer in existence (Ní Mharcaigh 1997, 269-270). Compiled by Geraldine Stout
