What is recorded here
No grave marker, hedge or dip remains visible in Ceathrú An Lisín, yet Mac Domhanill wrote in 1933 that a Christian graveyard occupied the adjoining paddock. The absence is not emptiness; it is grass grown smooth over forgotten burial. People may have walked there for weddings, funerals and ordinary prayers before the field lost its shape.
Mac Domhanill (NMI file, 1933), in relation to the church (GA119-081----), refers to a ‘Christian graveyard in adjoining paddock’. No visible surface trace survives and it is not precisely located.
