On the western edge of Inis Meáin, a ruined wedge tomb clings to the limestone terrace above the sea. Its three-metre gallery lies broken, with sidestones pitched or flattened beneath a displaced roof, while loose slabs choke the western entrance. The structure sits on bare rock with faint cairn traces, suggesting people once shaped this exposed cliff edge into a place for the dead before time and weather stripped it back to fragments.
Close to the edge of a limestone terrace above the sea on W side of Inis Meáin. The monument is very ruined. The gallery (L c. 3m), aligned E-W, is represented by one N sidestone, now markedly pitched to S, and two S sidestones, lying flat beneath a large displaced roofstone. A number of displaced slabs cover W end of the gallery. Some slight traces of a cairn are apparent around the tomb which seems to have been built on bare rock. (Robinson 1980)

Wedge tomb, dating to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BCE). Its location on a coastal limestone terrace suggests it may have been part of a broader ritual landscape associated with early farming communities in the Aran Islands.
