What is recorded here

On S side of Awbeg River, just above steep slope; c. 100 N of road in grounds of Wallstown House. Subrectangular graveyard (c. 45m N-S; c. 23m E-W) enclosed by low overgrown wall; cut-stone entrance piers with gate in S wall; interior raised c. 1.5m above level of surrounding terrain. Ruin of parish church of Wallstown (14456) in centre. In occasional use; most headstones to S of church, a few within; earliest headstone noted dated 1794. Some low uninscribed gravemarkers noted, particularly SW of church. Holy well (13975) c. 350m to SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
