Located on a slight rise in lowlying damp pasture on the W bank of the Pollagh River, 240m S of its confluence with the Glore and Gwestion Rivers. A trapezoidal area (40.6m E−W; 31.75m N−S at W, 41.3m N−S at E) enclosed by a mortared stone wall. The entrance is in the centre of the S wall, with a short avenue linking the graveyard to a minor road at S. There is a ruined church (MA071-169001-) in the centre of the W half, with one table tomb and several graves slabs dating to the 18th- and 19th-centuries in the interior. There is a preponderance of recumbant slabs, with inscriptions dating to the 18th-and 19th-centuries, in the S half of the graveyard, and a concentration of low, informal uninscribed stone gravemarkers in the N half. In the E half of the graveyard, there are two adjacent rectangular burial vaults. The northern chamber (4.1m N−S; 5.25m E−W; H 2.5m) is the best preserved, with a cut-stone door surround that may reuse stones taken from the church. The southern chamber is ruined; an inscribed stone indicates that it is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was built in 1779 by Thady Flaherty, parish priest. The ground surface of the graveyard was gravelled-over during a Fás scheme in the second half of the late 20th-century.
