What is recorded here
Grave Yd in Burgagery-Lands, County Tipperary, is a rectangular medieval burial ground where the old town wall still forms two edges and a carved limestone window fragment sits embedded in the boundary stone. The place has repeatedly taken back what people finished using: church parts became graveyard parts, graveyard stones became grave markers, and the dead remained inside the living town rather than outside it. That is not clutter; it is a region speaking plainly about continuity.
This roughly rectangular graveyard encloses the remains of a large medieval church (DU017-022001-). It contains 18th century memorials. It is enclosed by a masonry wall and townland boundary.
