Enclosed graveyard containing collection of gravestones dating from the early 1700s to the 1890s. Ruins of church, c.1675, with rubble stone walls and some openings remaining. Limestone rubble boundary wall with wrought-iron gate and flight of concrete steps. Yew trees to graveyard.

The situation of this graveyard and church group, on a small hill overlooking the Griffeen Bridge park, lends it a powerful presence and a striking profile when viewed from below. The graveyard contains a variety of finely carved headstones. Set alongside modern houses, the site is a welcome historical element in the vicinity.
