Single-arch road bridge, c.1820. Segmental arch with dressed voussoir stones, set into limestone rubble construction with granite coping blocks. Modern alterations to the south-eastern elevation.

Though partly altered, this simple bridge continues to add character to the adjacent parkland as it retains an unaltered north-west elevation. The name indicates a long history of this site as a crossing point in the vicinity.
