Located on a slight rise in an undulating landscape. The parish church of Whitechurch (WA030-017001-) was within a rectangular, neglected graveyard (dims. c. 50m E-W; c. 40m N -S) defined by stone-clad earthen banks. (Power 1898a, 88-9).
