What is recorded here

Grave Yard in County Cork holds two churches and stands beside the Kinneigh round tower, with the oldest visible headstone dating to the 1790s. Its stone wall encloses a rectangular patch of ground where worship and death shared one address. People may have buried their dead beneath church floors, beside altars or under open sky before stones marked the surface. The place still works like a memory: a small crowded world where the living prayed and the dead waited out the dark.
