What is recorded here
This irregularly shaped graveyard (NNW-SSE c. 80m, ENE-WSW c. 35m) is located to the E of the Ahascragh-Ballygar road. It is named but not clearly marked on the 1st ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Roughly D-shaped in plan, its notably curving E wall also forms the townland boundary. Though modern, this may preserve a segment of a possible early ecclesiastical enclosure (GA061-089001-). Within the graveyard are the sites of two post-medieval RC chapels (GA061-089004-, GA061-089005-) and a Man-made underground passage (GA061-089006-). Burials date from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
