Grave Yard stands above Ballygrady cross roads in County Cork, holding a vandalised vault and ruined sandstone walls while the church that birthed it has vanished without a trace. The place may date from 1788 when a plain building with a square tower rose in its centre, yet time and neglect have erased that structure entirely. What remains is a sloping, overgrown basin where the dead were laid before the living stopped coming, reduced to a single broken marker exposed on the hillside.

On elevated site, on W side of road, overlooking Ballygrady cross roads. Irregular-shaped graveyard (c. 50m N-S; c. 50m E-W), defined to S, W and NW by curving wall of sandstone; roadside wall to E largely collapsed; entrance gate piers on S side also much ruined. Interior overgrown and sloping down to S; vandalised vault in NE quadrant is only burial marker evident. No visible surface trace of C of I parish church of Kilbrin shown as rectangular structure in centre of graveyard on 1842 OS 6-inch map; Lewis (1837, vol. 2, 56) described this as 'a plain building with a square tower surmounted by a small spire; it was erected in 1788'; likely that graveyard not much older than this church.
