Graveyard is irregular in plan (c. 95m N-S; c. 80m E-W) bounded by recently-built wall and gateway along roadside to SW, and elsewhere by repaired stone wall. To N-of-centre is ruin of late-medieval parish church of Kilfergus (LI018-001002-). Graveyard, including interior of church, densely packed with burials. Just inside E wall of church is burial vault of Knights of Glin "1400-1866"; large uninscribed gabled tomb just SW of church; another smaller gabled tomb just outside E wall of church dated 1799. Inscribed headstones date from late 19th century.
