Grave Yard stands on high ground in County Limerick, watching the countryside through a broken post-1700 stone wall and the ruins of St. Lawrence's Church. People still bury their dead there, joining generations already settled beside St Lawrence's well and two 19th century mausoleums. The place does not hide its age; it offers room for more loss, more memory and more time.

Situated atop high ground with good views of the surrounding countryside. Depicted on the 1923 OS 6-inch map as a rectangular shaped area (50m WNW-ESE; 30m E-W) with modern graveyard extension to W. The graveyard is still in use. Remains consists of a rectangular shaped area enclosed by a poorly preserved post-1700 stone wall (H c. 1m) with entrance stile at S. An embankment is evident in the N, E and SE (H 1m) and in the SW where it is revetted by the stone wall. The ruins of St. Lawrence's Church (LI014-070001-) stands in E quadrant of graveyard with levelled site of post-1700 R. C. Chapel in green area to S of old graveyard.
