What is recorded here
Megalithic tomb on the eastern slopes of Kirikee Mountain, County Wicklow, named Giant's Grave because its scale demanded a mythological explanation. The 1838 map recorded the name without qualification; by Borlase's 1897 survey the structure was presumably still identifiable. Commercial forestry later absorbed whatever remained, erasing the stones and blocking the view that might have preserved them. The grave is gone, but the mountain keeps the shape of the loss.
Giant's Grave is recorded as a archaeological place in County Wicklow. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
