One of two bullauns described by Price (1959, 164, no. 11.), each with two basins. One was located in 2005 (see WI029-011---- for description) but the second (WI029-011001-) has yet to be located. Bullaun stones are typically associated with the early Christian period in Ireland, often linked to monastic sites and used for ritual or practical purposes such as holy water basins or as part of ecclesiastical complexes. While their exact function remains debated, they may also have earlier prehistoric origins, possibly reflecting earlier ritual traditions.
