Entrance gateway, erected c.1875, comprising a pair of cut limestone gate posts, square in plan with pyramidal-shaped heads, supporting a pair of wrought-iron bar gates. Located to the south of Ballymore forming entrance to a modernised two-storey vernacular house, built c.1875.

A simple late nineteenth-century gateway, which retains its early form and character. The gate posts and attractive wrought-iron gates exhibit high quality traditional craftsmanship. Gates of this nature were once extremely common in the rural countryside but are becoming increasingly rare today as field gates are widened to accommodate modern farm machinery etc. It represents a simple and fragile addition to the built heritage of the local area.
