On low-lying ground on the W bank of the S-N Owennaforeesha river, at the entrance to Bellanagare Castle (RO015-048001-) c. 240m to the N. Described as a pair of ancient gate piers (OS Name Books), presumably dating from the 1720s when the house called Bellanagare Castle was built. The gatepiers do not survive.
