What is recorded here

Gallan is a vanished standing stone buried beneath West Cork pasture, remembered only in written archives while the grass hides its shape. The site sits on a west-facing slope where rain and time have erased every visible edge. What remains is a ghost in the ground, waiting for someone to dig or imagine the stone that once pierced the sky.
