Gallan is a sub-rectangular standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, rising 1.55 metres on an east-facing pasture slope. Aligned northeast to southwest, it marks the landscape with a simple vertical presence. People may have passed it for generations, reading its shadow or leaving it alone.
