Gallán is a lost standing stone near a fulacht fiadh in County Cork, Ireland. It appeared on a 1940 map but vanished before modern measurement, leaving no visible trace. The place still belongs to memory, imagination and the risk of forgetting.

Not shown on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. Marked as single standing stone c. 20m SE of fulacht fiadh (CO049-016001-) on 1940 OS 6-inch map. Removed; no visible surface trace. Likely dating to the Bronze Age, the stone may have had ritual or territorial significance, possibly linked to the nearby fulacht fiadh. Its removal has obscured any potential folklore or specific use.
