What is recorded here
Listed as a ‘potential site – cartographic’ in the SMR (1988) and as a ‘quarry’ in the RMP (1998). Depicted as a small oval feature (c. 13m N-S; 16m E-W) on the 1st edition OS 6-inch map. It is not shown on later OS map editions. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant accepting this as the location of an archaeological monument.
