Gallán is a leaning standing stone in County Cork, Ireland. It stands 1.45 metres tall with a broad base, tilted slightly as if listening to someone absent. A garden has closed around it, softening the edge between wilderness and memory. The stone does not demand attention, but it refuses to be forgotten.
