Fulacht Fiadh is a low, irregular mound of burnt material beside a Cork stream, marked by one of two sites Bowman recorded on F. Thornton's land. It may have been a cooking pit where heat, water and patience turned raw ingredients into sustenance. The overgrowth now hides its edges, but the charcoal and shape still point to repeated human use.

In pasture, on N bank of stream. Low, irregular mound of burnt material (8m N-S); difficult to determine E and W limits due to overgrowth.
