Fulacht fia in Lounaghan

In pasture, on the N bank of a tributary of the Glashievhee stream. A horseshoe-shaped mound (7m E-W; 6.8m N-S; H 0.65m) of burnt material with the opening (2m E-W) facing S. A shallow depression immediately S of the opening may indicate the location of the trough. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
