Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2583). Over 138 cut features were excavated, varying from large pits to small stake-holes. A sub-rectangular trough (2.8m N-S; 1.6m E-W; D 0.65m) filled with burnt-mound material was interpreted as the remains of a heavily truncated Fulacht fia.
