Church (in ruins), Graveyard

The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 22 December 2009 Within a graveyard (CW012-057004-) a simple rectangular structure (13.2m x 7m) aligned E-W, of uncoursed mortared large granite boulders, now represented by W gable and portions of S wall (mainly rebuilt). Plain octagonal font (CW012-057002-) of fifteenth-century type and grave-slab (CW012-057003-) with cross and circle in nave.
