Fulacht fia in Barradaw

In pasture, adjacent to SW side of enclosure (CO055-019----). Irregular mound of burnt material (L 6m; Wth 5.4m; H 0.45m). Field fence running NE-SW atop mound composed of burnt material. Marshy ground in area of mound. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
