Fulacht fia in Barnacoghil is a fulacht fia in Barnacoghil, County Sligo, Ireland. The horseshoe-shaped mound measures 10m north-south and 8.5m east-west, rises 0.8m, and contains shattered sandstone within black soil. Its open east side has a south edge formed by a 0.7m slab protruding from the sod, while the site sits about 7m north of a stone circle in wet, boggy pasture.
Situated in wet, boggy pasture c. 7m N of a stone circle (SL018-059001-). Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. Horseshoe-shaped mound (10m N-S; 8.5m E-W; H 0.8m) apparently composed of shattered sandstone within a matrix of black soil. Open side at E whose S side is formed by a large slab (L 0.7m) which protrudes from the sod. There are low, oval-shaped mounds 3m E and 5m SE but these are probably composed of upcast from an adjacent drain.
