What is recorded here

Flat cemetery in Loggan Lower, County Wexford. Kinahan wrote that several cists appeared on a gravel ridge near the motte and bailey, but the exact spot has slipped from human memory. The dead may still lie beneath ordinary soil, waiting for someone to walk past the right grass and notice the shape of the ground.
According to Kinahan (1879-88, 155) a number of cists were found on a gravel ridge at Loggan Lower c. 800-900m W of the motte and bailey (WX002004001-). They are otherwise unknown, and remain unlocated. Compiled by; Michael Moore Date of upload: 1 February, 2012
